GUIDED BY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

The foundation is built upon a personal journey of transformation.

Our founder, IULIIA BAZHAN, was diagnosed on the autism spectrum at age four and was given a discouraging prognosis. Through consistent effort, informed choices, and coordinated support, her path led to profound positive change. This lived experience is the cornerstone of our mission.
THAT IS WHY SHE IS SO SENSITIVE TO CHILDREN WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DIFFERENCES TODAY: SHE REMEMBERS WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO DO WHAT PEOPLE SAY IS IMPOSSIBLE — TO FAIL, LEARN AND KEEP GOING UNTIL IT WORKS.

AUTISM THROUGH TALENT

A public photography and first-person storytelling exhibition developed in collaboration with autistic participants. Each portrait is paired with a story shaped with the person represented, giving participants agency over how their lives and autism are presented.
THE PROJECT USES PORTRAITURE AND FIRST-PERSON STORYTELLING TO SHIFT HOW AUTISM IS ENCOUNTERED IN PUBLIC LIFE FROM STEREOTYPES AND DIAGNOSTIC LABELS TOWARD INDIVIDUAL LIVES, AGENCY, COMPLEXITY, AND SELF-REPRESENTATION.
